Green food coloring makes it easy to transform foods and drinks, making the caution not to go too green. Or forget the artificial approach and get your green with naturally-green foods. Make a spinach dip, set out green olives and pickles, stir just enough parsley flakes into butter or sour cream or dip for a touch of green that doesn’t overwhelm. Include contrasting colors for balance, like bite-size tomatoes, black olives, and small squares of cheeses.
